Byzantine Museum - Antivouniotissas Museum

The museum is located on the church of Panagia Antibouniotissa. The church, which is the oldest one in the town of Corfu, it is dated possibly from the 15th century. In 1979, the families of Alamanou, Mylonopoulou, Rizikaki, and Skarpa donate the church to the Greek Public, in order to operate as a museum. In 1984, after the necessary erective workings, the museum was inaugurated. In 1994, after the second and the final phase of erecting the church, the terminal exhibition of the pictures was occurred. The museum includes a collection of Byzantine and After Byzantine pictures and relics.
